Why NQ Mobile Security?

This week in an interview with Bloomberg on the New York Stock Exchange trading floor, our Co-CEO, Omar Khan discussed the global growth of NQ Mobile. With the countless varieties and strains of mobile malware, viruses, Trojans and fraud, how are we able to accommodate all of our users in so many countries?

The Cloud

Our mobile cloud platform is a collective, virtual umbrella of resources and information that’s available through on-demand delivery. All that data lives in the cloud, and does not need to reside on a server or computer configuration.

NQ’s cloud features a massive amount of security knowledge that’s constantly being gathered into an immense databank of every malicious link or piece of code that could invade our mobile devices. When you register for our service, you reap the benefits of our colossal monitoring and scanning technology, which provides a great big safety net to protect you from mobile fraud in the form of viruses, spyware, and all kinds of malware. You no longer need to worry about your financial information, your privacy or communications – NQ Mobile Security has you covered.

The Interface

That only partially explains why our software is so popular. It works at a phenomenal level and does what it says it will do. Besides its functionality, NQ Mobile boasts a user interface that’s simple, clean and straightforward, a claim that many providers just can’t make.

When Omar Khan talks about NQ’s rapid growth, it’s position in the industry and our growing global popularity, it’s due to all these amazing properties – the cloud, the functionality and the design. It’s safe to say the cloud grows every day, as does the company.

Feedback

NQ Mobile Rings NYSE’s Closing Bell

In celebration of listing one year ago on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the leaders of NQ Mobile were on hand to ring the closing bell in New York City today. Co-CEOs Omar Khan and Henry Lin rang the bell with ten other senior leaders of the company, bringing down the gavel to end the day’s trading.

Who Rings the Stock Exchange Bell?

Ringing the bell at the NYSE is a traditional ritual that takes place twice a day – once to open the market and once at its close. People chosen to ring the bell and bring down the gavel are there to celebrate a successful highlight in their company’s history. In our case, the one-year anniversary of being a publicly traded company is a huge milestone for NQ Mobile and represents a level of success that just continues to grow.

A Mobile Security Success Story

In addition to having been listed on the NYSE for one year, we’ve experienced rapid growth as a company in 2012.

Having originated in China, the leaders at NQ Mobile have taken the company to a global level. We now have headquarters in Beijing, China, San Jose, California and Dallas, Texas. More than half our business is now outside of China. As part of our global reach, we welcomed our Co-CEO Omar Khan to help navigate the company into global territory. And we expect major successes from the addition of new senior leaders who hold impressive names in the industry.

Mr. Khan announced today in an interview that NQ Mobile usership now spans many countries. Our shareholders are happy about four straight quarters of exceeding high-end expectations. And our customers are demonstrating fierce loyalty to the products that protect their privacy and mobile security every day. Overall, the company is on a persistent climb, with no plans to slow down any time soon

The Best Mobile Protection

We designed our security software specifically for mobile phones. We didn’t take a PC system and convert it to mobile. As a result of hard work, endless research and a bright, innovative product team, our cloud-based system has won awards from independent testing agencies for catching and eliminating mobile malware before it ever has a chance of reaching your phone. Our 172 customers in 52 countries is a good indicator of the quality of our products and proof that we really are the best-kept secret in mobile security.
